Slowmoto is a Rome-based duo born from the encounter between Luca Petracca, a classical composer and guitarist, and Alessandro Montecchi, a graphic designer and photographer with a simultaneous electronic music experience. The project started in the summer of 2016, in a small studio.
Their music is characterized by meticulously researched and highly curated sound, together with a focus on melodies and harmonies.
The project fits well into the soundtrack genre, but at the same time it stands alone, without any need for visual accompaniment.
Imagination, investigation and movement, these are the key words for Slowmoto; to tell a story or to represent an image, a color, an impression, all through the language of sound.
